In the newly built Orchard Central shopping mall a collection of artworks are installed. A Vertical Lightfield is situated at a high wall that goes through several floors of the building.
26 flourescent tubes stick out of the wall. Each has a servo drive, that it rotate around its base in random move and pattern. Every now and then all sticks make some moves simultaneously, like as a wind that blows in a grain field. From time to time a short sequence of sounds is moving quickly across the field.
