Spot lights, color gels



The tower of the „Rathaus Schöneberg“ contains a huge bell that was given by the american people to the people of Berlin during the Russian occupation of the east pat of the city as a sign of solidarity. In the year 2000 it had its 50th anniversary and the city wanted to celebrate this. Having been asked to create a work for this event I suggested to celebrate the tower like a birthday present, wrapped in colorful lights (instead of wrapping papers).
