Frozen Heat Light Installation in Solo Exhibition "Frozen Heat - Hans Peter Kuhn" Tokushima Modern Art Museum, Tokushima, Japan, 2007 Lightsticks, MDF, pebbles Dimensions: 40 m x 0,6 m x 0,3 m
80 small lightsticks that seem to grow out of a pedestal, are lined up over the interior of the 40 m long cabinet in the main exhibition hall of the museum. Parallel - with a distance of about 1,5 m to the window covered cabinet - is a wall that leaves the audience only a narrow path to walk along this line of light.

Trypt Video and Sound Installation in Solo Exhibition „Frozen Heat - Hans Peter Kuhn“ Tokushima Modern Art Museum, Tokushima, Japan TV-sets, electronics dimensions variable
3 large TV-set are hung vertically and show 3 different films with the dancer Junko Wada, who dances in 3 different colored costumes and in similar colored lights three times the same dance. Each of the films moves slowly and with its own pace out and in of focus. It is accompanied by a 6-channel sound composition.

The vast exhibition hall was completely covered with a yellow carpet on which in a random disparation 64 loudspeakers were lying, each lit by a little desktop lamp. A 64-channel sound composition filled the space and invited people to lay down and relax.

Directly connected to the space with the "undefined landscape" was a small space with big windows looking at a garden with evergreen plants. These windows were covered with black foil except a small strip and the bushes in the garden were lit with a green light, which gave them a rather artificial character.
