The newly built James Simon Gallery is another design by David Chipperfield Architects for Berlin's Museum Island. For a presentation of the work at the Architectural Biennale in Venice the architects decided to show an animated film with a walk through the building. The 8-channel sound composition consists of a mix of field recordings with city ambiences and electronically manipulated recordings.
