On the occasion of the re-opening of the Paris Goethe Institut in 2007 this installation was errected as a model of a line of trees with their treetops being symbolized by a neon lightstick. Alltogether 9 of these trees were placed in the street between the subway stop and the institute, one more - as a permanent installation - in the backyard behind the building. To connect the two sites a series of neonsticks were mounted inside the lobby.
