Soundobject, in Group Exhibition "interface" Ballhaus Naunynstrasse, Berlin, Germany and Donaueschinger Musiktage, Donaueschingen, comm. by SWR, Baden-Baden, Germany
A plate of white Carrara marble is punched with 75 holes with small loudspeakers mounted into them forming an even grid. Each of the speakers is driven by an individual electronic device, that triggers a very short electric impulse about every 10 seconds which makes the speaker emit a short click sound. It is important to mention that the timing of the devices are not very precise and after a short time of running the clickings end up in the most beautiful chaos.
